Are You A Vanguard? Applications Now Open
The Vanguard conference is an experiential urban leadership gathering of rising urban leaders working to improve cities across sectors, including urban planning, community development, entrepreneurship, government, transportation, sustainability, design, art and media.
Next City’s gathering of rising urban leaders will meet in Greensboro, May 10 through May 14, 2020. Forty Vanguards from around the world will be selected in a competitive application process. Applications will open until January 9th, 2019 The application fee is $35, but a reduced early bird fee of $25 is available from January 9 through January 23.
The Vanguard program will be run by Next City in partnership with the Greensboro Region Host Committee, and the official host of the conference is Action Greensboro. Among the program’s partners are Downtown Greensboro and Greensboro Convention and Visitors Bureau.
